An Amarillo couple have given a major donation that will ensure cultural opportunities for the children of the Texas Panhandle. Joseph H. and Arlene Pool have underwritten an educational series for Window on a Wider World, the educational arm of the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts. The Joseph H. and Arlene Pool Education Series will support distance education programs and sponsor performances for youth.
